About the Funder
Thomas Hessel is a highly motivated 17-year-old who, despite his young age, possesses large entrepreneurial ambitions. Since the age of 13, he has leveraged professional experience by performing sales and marketing management roles in the business aviation industry and currently seeks a degree in International Studies at the University of Miami.
In the face of stark realities, Hessel witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of highly polluting industries on the planet. Fueled by a sense of urgency, he harnessed his passion, connections, and determination to create World Funding, an organization dedicated to supporting transformative projects that mitigate the far-reaching consequences of climate change and social inequality. By empowering individuals to become agents of change, Hessel aims to make World Funding a vessel of advocacy for sustainable approaches to transportation and social development.
