Project Amazon Roots
Founded by Maycon Garcia in 2020, and went live in 2021 by finding partners like Black Jaguar Fundation and One Tree Planted.
Amazon Roots works to reforest degraded areas, help local families, and crack down on illegal logging and wildlife trafficking - through environmental education, social aid, agreements with law enforcement, and
agreements with rural residents' associations to collect native seeds, generating income and human development.
